Milton Adamou is Head of Post Production at Stereo D. In his role, Adamou oversees all aspects of post production for feature films, commercials and home entertainment. He is responsible for the design and implementation of Stereo D’s ever-expanding editorial backbone, and the management of the editorial team and the services that they offer.
Adamou joined Stereo D in April 2010 to help the company deliver a single feature with 40 artists. Since then, he has played an essential role in expanding Stereo D’s capabilities from that of a pure conversion house to a full blown stereoscopic 3D studio, which now offers full online services in VFX, subtitling, depth grading and compositing in stereo.
Prior to joining Stereo D, Adamou had worked as a colorist and finishing artist at a number of facilities in the UK, NY and LA on feature films, documentaries, commercials and music videos. His titles prior to Stereo D include the award-winning Indy documentary Dragonslayer, Michael Moore’s Capitalism and Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D. Milton also worked for Quantel as Director of Business Development for Film, Post and DI. He was instrumental in the design and roll out of the company’s stereoscopic toolset for the award-winning Pablo DI and finishing system, as well as contributing to the global sales success of the Pablo platform.
In the past, Adamou has been a speaker at a number of key industry events including the 2008 HPA Tech Retreat; and a presenter of various technologies at industry events such as NAB, IBC and CABSAT. He holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University West of England and a Postgraduate from the University of Bristol.
